First thing is I know we all love to smoke out of our favorite bowl!! But do not try to travel with it!! Some states will charge you with possession of marijuana for the weight of the pipe!! They weight the pipe!! & That’s how much marijuana you will be charged with!
I am looking to make a list of all known "drug check points" That are on the Amtrak & Greyhound Routes! So that all medical patients that may travel, Will have the Knowledge necessary to reach their destinations SAFELY! with their medicine!
If you know of any drug squads check points???
Please email us the info & We will post it here!
I know that on the East Coast! one for greyhound buses is Fayetteville N.C. & they use to check greyhound busses at Fort Lauderdale too! But the courts down here ruled it "unconstitutional" & on Amtrak one check point is Albuquerque N.M.
On Greyhound the "drug couriers profiles" that they use are that they travel with very little luggage!! They always ask if you have any checked bags under the bus!! If you do!! they leave you alone!! So do not Travel light!! Always have bags checked under the bus!! Even if they are empty!! On greyhound it is real hard!! & real risky to try to smoke your medicine!! The only times that it may be possible!! Is on your breakfast, lunch, & dinner breaks!! they usually stop for around 45 minutes! Go take a short walk!! Better yet! just bring brownies!!!
On buying your tickets!! I know that the D.E.A. has a computer hooked up to Amtrak & the airlines that monitor the names of people buying tickets!! & they have the same deal with Greyhound! So I would be real careful what name you give!! I always just add a letter or drop a letter to my last name! That way if a cop should ever question it! You can just say that THEY mistyped or wrote it when you bought the ticket!! & it is enough to throw the advanced computer name check off!
ADVANCE WARNING!! If you have been active at all in the medical marijuana legal fight. Or if you are a "known grower" YOUR NAME IS IN THE D.E.A’s COMPUTER. You put in your real name. & likely warning bells will go off at the D.E.A. So plan accordingly
If you want to play it safe!! book your train or bus ticket for an extra stop or two!! that way if say your ticket says Boston!! If they want to put you under surveillance they will have it set up & waiting on you in Boston!! well you hop off in NY!!! it will cost you an extra $20 bucks!! Personally I think that $20 Bucks is money well spent for "Piece of Mind" Just make sure they pull your bags from under the bus!!!
To get by the Fayetteville N.C. check point on the east coast! check greyhound for the buses that arrive in the middle of the night!! The busses run 24 hours a day!! I know for a fact that between 1 am & 4 am, the cops do not check the buses!! & I have never seen them run a drug dog thru the buses!!& I have been thru that stop about 6 or 8 times in the last 5 years!!
Grand Junction Colorado is a major interdiction spot with articles ranging back several years, and the most recent one being front page news of a bust at the station just yesterday. Apparently, they have a detachment (with dog) that checks a large number of buses which stop there for service. Grand Junction is a major impediment for gentle travelers, as not only does their PD appear to be zealous in their efforts (I wonder how much forfeiture profit they make), but it’s location make it one of the major waypoints for any travel eastward from the SW.
Omaha, NE has an interdiction officer ASSIGNED to the Greyhound terminal as part of their regular duty postings.
This means surveillance on a daily basis.
1/9/04 On Amtrak the DEA runs drug dogs thru the baggage car in Saint Louis MS.
If you are traveling by airline do not wear sneakers!! & do not buy your tickets at the airport counter with cash!! If you need to pay cash!! Hit a ticket broker before you go to the airport!! After you de-board your plane DO NOT GO STRAIGHT TO A PAYPHONE! Those are three of the several things that their "drug courier profiles" look for!
Have safe & happy travel days!!
If any employees of the airlines or Amtrak or Greyhound bus! That might be able to lay their hands on a paper copy of the profiles!! & are sympathetic to our cause!! Please send it to me by email!! To protect you identity use an email Remailers! or mail it from a public library,
We will post it & put it to good use!!
For those ladies that are traveling thru US Customs, Carry a bag of tampons, or pads, stash your medicine in that bag, Most male Customs inspectors will not look in the bag of tampons.
For those of you traveling to Amsterdam here is a tip! on bringing stuff home with you.
The Following is a tip to fly from Amsterdam into England
FLY FROM EAST MIDLANDS .
EVENING FLIGHT, THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ANY SIGN OF CUSTOMS ON THE RETURN FLIGHT. JUST BRING IT THROUGH. THE WAY THE LAWS ARE STANDING NOW, I F U WERE TO BE CAUGHT, IT WOULD BE RE-POSSESSED BY CUSTOMS AND U WOULD GET A CAUTION FOR YOUR EFFORTS.
JUST DO IT MAN!
If the amount of medicine that you are traveling with is small! Be sure to stuff it the one place that the cops CAN NOT LOOK!! Down your pants!! In order to do a strip search!! You need to be all ready under arrest! & at the police station, They can not strip search you unless you are at the police station! If you are all ready under arrest! You may as well give it to them any way!! They are going to find it! With or without your help!! Just do not give it to them till you are at the booking desk!!
Unless you feel you have a chance to ditch it unseen before you reach the station. I was able to loose 100 Pharmy Quaaludes back in the 80,s Before they got me to the booking station. Its possible just very tricky! Dam near broke my wrist with the cuffs, But it sure beat what would have happen to me if I hadn’t. They all ready had me for a concealed gun. Hay it was the 80’s down here in South Fla. EVERYONE if you were in the drug scene carried. Back then you could legally carry as many loaded guns in your car as you wanted to.
If anyone else has any travel tips!!
Feel free to email them to us!!
WE LOVE INPUT!!
