You can buy it like this as well but most people wait until it is turned into hash. You
can also buy what is left after they have extracted the pollen from it to make hash out
of it. This is called kiff then.

The first step of the process of turning the marijuana in to hash.
The pot is mulled up and placed on top of some cheese cloth which is attached like a drum skin over a plastic bowl.
Next the plastic layer is put over the top.
The huge blue plastic bag they are using is full of marijuana.
Now you just play it like a drum. This knocks all the pollen off the heads and leaves what is called Kiff.
The pollen caught in the bucket.
It feels a bit like flour. It is fine and powdery.
This is a better view of the pollen. Quite an amount considering how much marijuana was used and how long the process took.

The final step.
The pollen is taken and put into a soap bar plastic bag that we are all so familiar with. At this stage it is like flour. Then it is put on top of a rock on top of a small gas flame. It is heated and pressed until it turns into the hard 9 ounce soap bar we all know so well. The longer you heat it the harder it gets. "How would you like your soap bar sir, Well done, Medium rare".
