The berry’s on the beef. These plants are the heavy early. Mothered by two Afghani hybrid cousins, the red and yellow. These were selected for yield and resin productivity respectively. The father was the most incredibly resinous. Blueberry Male from DJ Short Collection. This male had tight stamen formation. Solid purple male clusters as firm as then flower. I got a good germ rate with these seeds, out of 6 planted they all popped. During veg these plants grew very uniformly in 1 gallon pots. They took the veg nutes well, but weren’t quite as greedy with them as
their neighbors; sol’s sweet Tooth#3.

At five weeks the preflowers revealed a 50/50 m/f rate, so I got 3 females. These were repotted into 3 gallon pots and some low stress training commenced.

One of the 3 females was showing some stress and general ill health, so this plant was removed from the grow room and placed outside.

The remaining 2 plants grew almost identically, each with 2 large main colas. The buds looked dense, but upon inspection were quite airy. Trichome production was astounding, starting at about 20 days, smell was a musty/hashy/berry aroma.

The plants stretched minimally and finished at around 63 days they were about 2-2.5′ tall with beautiful purple accents on the buds.

I was disappointed with the yield from this plant (1.5 oz from 2 plants), but have since learned that it’s not meant to be a heavy producer, but a hash producing strain.

The outdoor shishkeberry was repotted once in midsummer, it attracted all kinds of bug & mites and I severely neglected her, but still managed to yield 130 grams. It finished 22nd of November at about 5′ tall. All of this plant was turned into tasty sticky hash.

My grow area is approx 6′ x 10′.

It was lit in veg by 1 600w Planta T Sodium Light & and in flower a 400w sodium was added

Ventilation is provided by 2 x 4″ RVK inline flans, one for intake & one to expell through a carbon filter.

The medium used was Bio-Bizz Allmix.

The feeding schedule throughout growth commenced at week 3. House & Garden (nl) Compo & epsom salts were administered every other watering (in between I used plain tap water).

In flower I continued to use the ‘compo’ for 2 weeks, then started to use House & Garden (nl) bio-flower
