Removal Tools and instructions for Weather Bug

To Uninstall Weather Bug
In order to avoid future problems with Weather Bug, make
sure the program is not running before uninstalling it. If there is a Weather
Bug icon in the system tray (in the lower right hand corner of the screen)
you'll need to right-click on it and choose "Exit Weather Bug" or
"Terminate Weather Bug".
Once the program is closed, you can remove it easily from
the Add/Remove Programs section of the Control Panel by following these steps:
- Click START (lower, left of computer screen)
- Select SETTINGS and CONTROL PANEL
- Double click ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS
- Select "Weather Bug" (or other programs) from
the list of applications
- Click ADD/REMOVE and follow the instructions
If you receive a warning stating that the system
could not delete a file, please click on Weather Bug and then ADD/REMOVE again.
If errors occur while uninstalling you may have to reinstall Weather Bug in
order to complete the uninstall process. The most common error results from
attempting to uninstall Weather Bug while the program is running. This often
results in Weather Bug commands remaining in the Windows Registry and the
program will continue to run.
To remove these scan and delete any file in your registry
containing "AWS" and "weatherbug"
To Uninstall My Search
- Click START (lower, left of computer screen)
- Select SETTINGS and CONTROL PANEL
- Double click ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS
- Select "My Search" from the list of
applications
- Click ADD/REMOVE and follow the instructions
