Breeder’s Description – ‘Northern Lights x Shiva’

Northern Lights crossed with Shiva creates wonderfully pungent sweet buds with bountiful THC. This plant has high flower to leaf ratio. NL/Shi has a bit spicier smoke when compared to Northern Lights and has a more complex buzz. This strain is a timeless classic. NL/Shi has a exotic aroma, is relatively easy to grow and clone.

Nirvana NLxShiva was a very nice variety to grow.
They branch out quite nicely and often “top” themselves somehow
just so they can grow more branches. This was very good for me and it
provided for a pretty decent yeild.

This was my first grow in 2001. NL x Shiva was a great place to start. The plants grew quickly and were very forgiving. I kept the pH around 6 – 6.2 (now I keep it lower). There was only a little diversity in phenotypes, all had fat, triangular leaves.

This is the first time I have grown this strain. I really was not sure what to make of this strain, but due to the f’up in my room I needed to drop a few more seeds to max the sq footage.

Easy to grow, I couldn’t kill it as hard as I tried. Good yield. Great smoke, quite potent. The couple other people who’ve had any have raved also.

I didn’t get much taste on this grow, probably didn’t flush long enough despite using organic flowering ferts. The first plant harvested at 58 days, the rest over a 10 day/2week period following.

I took them with 30% + amber trichs to get some couchlock. Got 7/9 fems and a 100% germ rate on the seeds. I personally consider this a great buy at ~30 usd for 10 with shipping.
