Breeder's Description - 'Top 44'

T44 is one of our top commercial strains. Top 44 is our fastest flowering variety which under ideal conditions can be ready in ~6 weeks. This strain stays low and does not branch to much making it ideal for confined gardens or sea of green farming. Top 44 is a strong easy to grow plant and a great selection for the first timer. Top 44 has also proven to be a great balcony producer. The smoke is deep and skunky with a long lasting buzz.

Really not that potent, low yielder, had some bag appeal though (managed to coax purple hairs out of it using cool temps). Has autoflowering tendencies. I grew five Top 44 plants under four 4 ft fluorescent shoplights for the beginning to middle vegetation. I discovered two males, killed them, and put the remaining three outdoors during the Summer.

This strain is excellent. Any other reports that showed low yield, poor potency and anything otherwise bad is totally false. This strain was very easy to grow. Top44 is a very easy plant to grow during veg I use 80 watts of fluoros and the plant gave me no trouble at all it should it sex in its early stages of veg. Friend of mine had a couple of plants to give away, that he had grown from seed. I thought it best to chop them up, into clones. A third plant, a wee bit on the scraggly side showed signs of female. So I thought, Well I won't tell you what I said. We eventually made 61 clones.

My pal eventually ennded up needing some, so he took 10. I slung 26 in the tray and put 12 in pots outside. The rest weren't able to be spaced anywhere. R.I.P!

Once the clones had broken through the 3 inch cubes, I placed them in the tray, and Vegd for 3 weeks.

As they were compacted together, I obviously had to do a lot of trimming on lower folage along the way.

Flowering :

I was still feeding them Veg (Growth Tech) 13 days into flowering.

Day7 - Add B-cuzz bloom stimulator

Day13 - Flush out tank. Add Bloom (Growth Tech).

Day27 - Flush out tank.

I extended the timing of the light cycle from 12/12 at the beginning of day 25 to 14/10. Until day 43, it was brought back to 12/12.

Day 49 - Flush out tank , feed Ripen 1week.

Day 56 - Flush out tank. 5days half strenght Ripen.

2days plain water.

Finish day 60. Hairs 80% amber

I started to harvest some plants 2 days before the end so the trimming wasn't so gruelling.
23 vigorous plants. And 3 from the scraggly one.

Frostfrostfrostfrost,all the way. The bud's went from suger dusting to Narnia. Extreem.

This wasn't a day 44 Top44. Even though I extended the light, and over feed once.
But I did also want to see what Top44 would be like longer into flowering. I even let some plants go 62/63 days.

Nice smoke, but very strong. Get the munchies on the thirst joint. Bed time by 2nd joint nitenite ZZZzzzzzzzzz....
