This is an upgraded strain of our valued former Afghan/Skunk. We improved the variety in 1997. The taste is softer than before and we managed to improve on yield. The Afghani (Mazar-i-Shariff) part is a very short Christmas tree-like plant, 100% Indica and very resinous. The F1-cross with Skunk #1 gives the variety a bigger yield and better taste. Very good "up" high. As both parents are very consistent, the offspring are very consistent too.

I ended up with only two females out of 5 plants. Each of the females seemed to be a different phenotype. One was extremely large, bushy and yielded a lot. The other was smaller, buds spaced out further apart and lankier. The one phenotype's high is average, fairly potent, not very heady and is OK. ...continued

I started out with 20 feminised seeds, from those i chose the best 6 plants to continue working with... ALL of them were pretty varied in growth (it is an indica/sativa mix, Mazar-e-sharrif X Skunk #1) so this was expected.

The seeds were bought from Dutch Passion's store in Amsterdam, (duh) Netherlands.
The individual feminized Mazar's genetics, while a little varied, all produced excellent results. Most plants were around 3-4 feet in height at harvest and plant shapes were all different. Biggest was 5 foot and bus ...continued

Powerful plant, one of the most potent I've grown!
Average yield of compact buds.
Strong couchlock and pleasant height.
Really good taste, make you hungry.
May be used medically.

I had a good time with this plant it just grew the way it was suppose to... reeked the entire place up and outside of it significantly... it yielded well... flowered fine...... ,etc.. This was my second grow, I have done really a lot of reading and studying,so this part was o.k.,but there was lack of experience,wich have resulted in lower yields and lack of efficiency of growroom.In this moment I am sure that I could pull out considerably better yields from my setup. Ok,so here we go.....
The initial plan was to grow 4 moms,take cuttings from them and put rooted clones directly in bloom.We have wanted to leave this 4 moms and choose best among them,to have good cloning stock.But plans do change,so we have ended up with 20 clones(read-apple on stick)and 4 large plants.
Germination-Seeds that i have bought at Utrechtsestr.26(seeds of passion),have poped up in just 6-7 hours,all of them.I am very pleased with germination rate/speed of this beams.
Vegetation-It took 2 weeks till they have took off for real.Growing pattern of all 4 plants was equable.Growing rate was also good,about 2-3 cm per day.Pretty much space between noods.There was visible hit of sativa in leaf structure.This strain(in mine case)can produce many branches so SUPERCROPPING could be done,with good results as well.I have saw first preflowers at about 30-40day of veg.They have been in veg for almost 2 months.
Cuttings-I have used bubbler cloner to root cuttings with moderate success(50%)
There were certain problems,i have waited to get roots for 3 weeks.Now,when i have done this cloning method i can see what must be modificated to get better results much faster.I think that i can recommend Mazar for all those who want to clone some MJ.
Bloom-After just 5 days i could see first singhs of bloom on clones and ex-mums.
After 20 days they have started to coat them self in nice coat made out of trichs.
There were 2 different phenos on 4 plants that were visible in bud structure.
Pheno A-(2 plants)-A bit darker leafs then on other pheno.Buds were more like fat nugs,heay coated in large trichs.That would be more indica pheno.
Pheno B-(other 2)Much smaller trichs then other two.Buds formed in kind of fat spheres.I think that should be pheno that DP is advertiseing,indica with hit of sativa influence.
Smoke report-This shit is very sticky,and hits you hard like bullet.It hits you in head,but also you can feel it in body.In mine case type of high depend on mine mood.It could be bad idea to smoke it if i am nervous or if there are some problems that i must deal with.But on other hand i have give a sample to mine bro,and he have told me that they have laughed like mad for 4 hours after one joint.I can tell for shure that this strain is very potent,although i have almost 10 years of smoking MJ behind me.
General overview-What can i tell.....Strain is easy to grow,it is very resistant .Potency is in range of much more famous strains like WW,BlueBerry,JackHerrer..
Also IMO it have great producing abilities.
Dutch passion have made good job with this strain.
Garden Information for this report 400w MH was used to veg moms,bloom,2x400w in separate closets.
Simple soil mix,canna tera vega/bloom. |

this strain is really particular, not very easy to grow, because of its high vulnerability to ph-change, water shortage or wrong feeding...
but the plant look really nice. The flowers turn to pink/purple in the last month, and they become covered with resin really soon.

Bought a pack of 10 DP's Mazar seeds FEMINIZED.
I had some hermaphrodite and males issues so I ended up with 1 plant.
She was veg for 1 month and flowerer for 65-70 days.
