This is an upgraded strain of our valued former Afghan/Skunk. We improved the variety in 1997. The taste is softer than before and we managed to improve on yield. The Afghani (Mazar-i-Shariff) part is a very short Christmas tree-like plant, 100% Indica and very resinous. The F1-cross with Skunk #1 gives the variety a bigger yield and better taste. Very good "up" high. As both parents are very consistent, the offspring are very consistent too.

I ended up with only two females out of 5 plants. Each of the females seemed to be a different phenotype. One was extremely large, bushy and yielded a lot. I started out with 20 feminised seeds, from those i chose the best 6 plants to continue working with... ALL of them were pretty varied in growth (it is an indica/sativa mix, Mazar-e-sharrif X Skunk #1) so this was expected.

The seeds were bought from Dutch Passion's store in Amsterdam, (duh) Netherlands.

I had a good time with this plant it just grew the way it was suppose to... reeked the entire place up and outside of it significantly... it yielded well... flowered fine...... ,etc.. The pot was good but a little strong sometimes i preferred a more mild high like hte skunk red hair to be amongst friends... it wasn't lethargic though like the northern lights....... The big nugs looked "dangerous" as in dangerously good...... medium bud density like not rock hard and i had a hermie from an oasis plant which caused some to seed. the high was uplifting a bit and energetic with little burnout that can probably be attributed to the time in which i picked it......

this strain is really particular, not very easy to grow, because of its high vulnerability to ph-change, water shortage or wrong feeding...
but the plant look really nice. The flowers turn to pink/purple in the last month, and they become covered with resin really soon.

Bought a pack of 10 DP's Mazar seeds FEMINIZED.
I had some hermaphrodite and males issues so I ended up with 1 plant.

She was veg for 1 month and flowerer for 65-70 days.
